Donation Types

  • Whole Blood – Most common donation and collects a pint of blood which takes about 10 minutes. Entire process takes about an hour
  • Power Red – Collection of red blood cells and safely returns platelets and plasma to the donor. Donors must meet eligibility requirements, including height and weight. Donor blood type should be O-, O+, A- or B-. The process takes about 1.5 hours.

Donor Guidelines

  • Weigh at least 110 lbs.
  • Bring ID
  • Eat a meal before donation
  • Drink plenty of water before and after donation
  • All females between 16-22 & 65 and over who are new donors OR have not donated in the past two years, see below requirements:
