🏆 WHOO HOO!!! Congratulations to our Poetry & Essay writers who earned State-level honors in the NJ State Federation of Women’s Clubs Youth Creative Writing Contest! 🎉

To celebrate their achievements, we surprised the winners with school-wide announcements at Bogert and Reynolds. At Cavallini, the winners were recognized live on Cavallini TV!

We are so proud of these talented students and the creativity, thoughtfulness, and writing skills they demonstrated through their entries. First-place state winners have now advanced to the National Contest!

Our winners are:
Isabella (1st grade) – Second Place
Arjun (3rd grade) – FIRST Place
Reya (5th grade) – Third Place
Solema (6th grade) – FIRST Place
Aushmi (8th grade) – FIRST Place

🎉 Thank you to everyone who supported our Baby Shower Drive! 🎉

We’re overwhelmed with gratitude for all the wonderful baby items donated benefitting the Lighthouse Pregnancy Center and Children’s Aid and Family Services! 💚. A special shoutout to Dagne Dover for their generous donation of 15 stunning diaper bags and accessories! 🍼✨

Thank you to our members who helped with the collection, sorting and drop-off!

Together, we’ve made a meaningful impact—thank you! 💖

For those unfamiliar:
👶 Lighthouse supports women, men, and teens facing unplanned pregnancies with free, confidential services. They currently run 25 ultrasounds per week and welcomed over 600 babies last year.
💪 Children’s Aid and Family Services providers of services that protect and support vulnerable children, adults and families. Their expanding our programs to help members of the community live their best lives.

🎀👶 Help Us Shower Local Moms & Babies with Love! 👶🎀

We’re hosting a Baby Shower Collection Drive benefiting Children’s Aid and Family Services and the Lighthouse Pregnancy Resource Center 💕

Now through June 2, we’re collecting all the essentials for new moms and babies, including:
🍼 Diapers & formula
👕 Baby clothes (especially BOYS clothes — they’re in low supply!)
🧴 Toiletries & baby care items
🎁 Any must-haves for a new mom

Every little item makes a BIG difference for families in our community. Let’s fill the nursery with love! 💗✨

Showcasing our Talents!

Our members truly knocked it out of the park at this year’s Ramapo District Achievement Day!

We had 20 entries across a wide range of categories and the results were outstanding. From glasswork, watercolors, pysanky, and photography, our members earned an impressive 7 First Place awards and 8 Second Place awards.

Even more exciting, all First Place entries will advance to the State Contest held during the Convention in May! What an accomplishment!

In addition, 8 of our annual reports received Best Work recognition, along with our Book Club.

We are so proud of everyone who participated. Your talent, creativity, and hard work continue to shine! 🎉
