Lunches With Love

What an incredible day of service! Our members had the privilege of volunteering at Oasis – A Haven for Women and Children for their “Lunches with Love” program, and “rewarding” doesn’t even begin to cover it.

We jumped right in and stayed busy:

🔪 In the Kitchen: Chopping, prepping, and serving a delicious lunch for 120 women and children.

🎒 In the Pantry: Assembling over 50 food bags to ensure families have what they need for a weekend distribution.

📚 In the Library: We were so proud to donate nearly 300 books to help stock their shelves and inspire young readers!

Our hearts (and our hands) are full. 🥰

What A Year! 2025 Highlights!

What a great way to look back on everything we accomplished this year with our annual federation reports. Huge thanks to all our committee leads for making 2025 another amazing year! A special shoutout to our chairs for taking the time to write their annual reports, and thanks to all our club members for your support!

Thrift Shop Volunteering!

💚👚 Our Club members had a great volunteer day yesterday at the Community Thrift Shop in Midland Park!

Two hardworking shifts helped tag an amazing amount of donated clothing, with a little lunch break in between and even some fun shopping at the end. By the end, the huge pile of clothing behind us was all tagged and ready for pricing. A portion of the shop’s proceeds go back to charitable organizations like ours. This is a great fundraiser project for our Club.

If you donate items to the Community Thrift Shop, please ask them to mark your donation for our Club,#39 so we can continue supporting local causes together. Thank you to everyone who volunteered! 💚✨

🎉 We’re Proud to Support Bergen CASA! 🎉

We’re thrilled to share that the Women’s Club of Upper Saddle River has donated $1,000 to Bergen CASA’s Foster Teen Internship Program!

This incredible program empowers foster teens in Bergen County with paid, hands-on internships that help them build confidence, gain real-world experience, and develop essential business and workplace skills. These opportunities are especially important as teens prepare to age out of the foster system and begin their journey toward independence.

In times when funding is tight, every dollar makes a difference. We’re proud to help ensure more young people have the skills and support they need to thrive.

🙏 Thank you to Bergen CASA for the life-changing work you do — and to our community for helping us make a positive impact!

Thank You! Give Blood Save Lives!

❤️ We want to send a massive THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our Community Blood Drive yesterday!

Despite some unexpected hiccups that made us wrap up early, the power of this community shone through. We were still able to collect 20 Pints of Blood in 2 hours. That’s incredible!

A HUGE shout-out also goes to our generous local sponsors who fueled our wonderful donors:

George from the Saddle River Deli for the delicious sandwiches and

Elmer’s Country Store for providing the fantastic pizzas!

And of course, many, many thanks to Bergen Highlands UMC for graciously allowing us to host the drive in their building.

Your generosity will help save lives! Thank you all for making a real difference! 🥰
