What a great way to look back on everything we accomplished this year with our annual federation reports. Huge thanks to all our committee leads for making 2025 another amazing year! The Women’s Club had a fantastic time at our Great Holiday Cookie Exchange, complete with delicious homemade treats, favorite recipes, and some truly spectacular ugly sweaters! 😄🎄 Thank you to everyone who baked, participated, and showed up in festive style. Members had an amazing time learning how to make homemade paneer and discovering its health benefits! We also got to try our hand at making some delicious Indian flatbread to go with it. Many thanks to Darshana for the wonderful lesson and sharing her expertise!
Our Holiday Cookie Exchange was a huge hit! So many tasty treats baked with love by our amazing members. It was such a lovely evening filled with laughter, connection, and, of course, delicious goodies to take home. A big shoutout to Darshana and Jane for organizing this wonderful event—thank you!

On a beautiful Spring day, members traveled to Nyack, New York for a Foodie Walkng Tour of Nyack’s famous eateries. Along the way, they sampled delicious scones, tasty cheeses, and a vast sampling of Ukrainian food. Topping off the afternoon was an ice cream stop!
Members gathered at Darshana’s home to learn new recipes for summer drinks. It was lovely evening trying different flavor variations. Fan favorites were the orange-basil granita, the frozen mock coffee martini, and the rose milk strawberry trifle. So many yummy recipes!
What a delicious event! Our baking members met on on December 12th laden with dozens of their favorite cookies to exchange. It was a lovely evening compete with a holiday cocktail and conversation before we circled around the table and selected cookies to take home to share with family and friends. Many thanks to Diana Nash for hostessing this festive evening!
A the end of March, members enjoyed an evening learning about olive oils, tasting different varieties, and enjoying delicious snacks at Olive R Twist in Ridgewood.
Our members enjoyed working alongside Chef Claudia Rovegno at her restaurant, From Scratch, in Ridgewood. In teams, we began with dessert first–making lemon custard. While that set, we learned how to cook the main course–Veal Saltimbocca alla Romana, and pasta with pesto sauce, potatoes and string beans. We topped off our culinary adventure by sharing the fruits of our labor and having a delicious meal together.
