Thrift Shop Volunteering!

💚👚 Our Club members had a great volunteer day yesterday at the Community Thrift Shop in Midland Park!

Two hardworking shifts helped tag an amazing amount of donated clothing, with a little lunch break in between and even some fun shopping at the end. By the end, the huge pile of clothing behind us was all tagged and ready for pricing. A portion of the shop’s proceeds go back to charitable organizations like ours. This is a great fundraiser project for our Club.

If you donate items to the Community Thrift Shop, please ask them to mark your donation for our Club,#39 so we can continue supporting local causes together. Thank you to everyone who volunteered! 💚✨

Garage Sale Thank You!

🌟 A huge THANK YOU to all the homes in town who participated in this year’s Garage Sale!🌟

For the very first time, we decided to join in the fun with our own sale. It was a great day of community spirit, treasure hunting, and friendly faces. We hope you all had a successful and profitable day! Looking forward to doing it again with you next year! 💚

Charcuterie Board Fundraiser

We celebrated the leap year bonus day of February 29th with a Charcuterie Board Fundraiser held at our town Firehouse. Many community members joined us. We all made scrumptious boards of meats, cheeses, dried fruit, chocolate, grapes, kiwis, pickles, jars of honey and jam and edible flowers. We learned to make roses out of salami and ribbons of prosciutto. Many thanks to Perfect Parings-Graze from Warwick, NY for their clear instructions, and for furnishing the ingredients to make our boards-complete with boxes to transport them home! Thanks also to the businesses who sponsored our Silent Auction––Salt of The Earth, Mindful Cafe, The Breslow Center, Injexcellence Med Spa, The Parlour, Delpinos’s, Stumpy’s Hatchet House, Deka Lash, The Corredor Crew, Pinstripes, Pauline Ann, and to members who donated auction items––Jane Bodnar, Jeanine Matthews, Nancy Tarbutton, Elizabeth Pittman, Christine Lagana, Ali Smith, Diana Nash, Ann Guadango, Brigitte Marten, Lucille Fallon, Linda Miko, Joan Clifford, and Claudia O’Bosky. Many attendees went home with great gifts and helped us to fund our scholarships, donations to first responders, and other charitable causes. Kudos to our Fundraising Team who organized this wonderful event! The evening was lots of fun and a great success!
