Our Social Service Chairs, Maria DiMartino and Sheila Ghorashi, drove a carload of Holiday Gifts to Strengthen Our Sisters Shelter. Our members were happy to add to their shopping lists knowing the holiday joy it would bring to the 29 children in residence!
Donations Made To Upper Saddle River and Allendale Ambulance Corps
Upper Saddle River
Allendale
Our Club was happy to present both the Upper Saddle River and Allendale Ambulance Corps with the proceeds of our November Fashion Show Fundraiser at Neiman Marcus. Checks representing our ticket sales, the generous donation made by Haute Hippie, the Fashion House that sponsored our show, as well as individual donations from attendees were presented by our President, Nona Maher, and our Fundraising Chairs, Jeanine Matthews and Desire Cinotti. Diana Nash, also a Fund Raising Chair, was not able to be present. The members of our club recognize the unselfish time commitment made by the unsung heroes of the Ambulance Corps who are always ready to help when there is a need. We are proud to support them!
Holiday Dinner

Our Club hosted a Holiday Dinner for members at Savini in Allendale. Thanks to the efforts of our Social Chairs, Kathie Durante and Nickie Lisella, we had a wonderful evening celebrating together!

Sneaker and Backpack Collection for Students at Strengthen Our Sisters

A big thank you to our generous members who purchased new sneakers and backpacks for the 17 school age students in grades K through 12 at Strengthen Our Sisters Shelter. They were delivered on Friday–just in time for the start of school, along with toddler socks and shoes from our ongoing summer drive, and donations that came in to our collection box in the Saddle River Post Office. Two high chairs and assorted other items were collected from generous families in town and delivered to the shelter as well.
