The Woman’s Club of Upper Saddle River is part of a sisterhood of clubs on the State, National, and International levels.

The New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs (NJSFWC), founded in 1894, is the largest volunteer women’s service organization in the state with over over 160 local clubs, totaling nearly 6,000 members statewide. With a vision of Volunteers in Action, NJSFWC provides opportunities for education, leadership training, and community service. They partner with Douglass Residential College at Rutgers University and sponsor scholarships and educational programs.

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) is one of the oldest international non-partisan, non-denominational women’s volunteer service organization with more than 60,000 members across 2,300 Clubs, including international clubs. Their motto is Living the Volunteer Spirit, supporting the arts, preserving natural resources, advancing education, promoting healthy lifestyles and encouraging civic involvement.
