Since 2001, the Woman’s Club of Upper Saddle River has hosted an annual Baby Shower Donation Drive to benefit children in need. Every year, we our drive supports two organizations, such as The Center For Hope and Safety, the Lighthouse Pregnancy Resource Center or Oasis, A Haven for Women and Children.
Our Drive runs from mid-May to end of May with collection bins at the USR Library and at member’s home.
The needs outlined by the organizations were:
Children’s clothes from size 0-3 months to 5T, all sizes of diapers, baby wipes, formula (Enfamil and Similac-liquid or powder), baby bath essentials, pacifiers, small toys, bottles, bibs, and blankets—any items a mom and baby would need.
We collected a carload of items due to our community’s generosity!
