Food Drive For Emmanuel Cancer Foundation

December is a special time to remember to give from the heart. We drove to the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation in Midland Park with a car load of non-perishable food supplies donated by our members.  We are happy to support this worthy cause that helps families faced with the crisis of pediatric cancer. We also support them with Birthday Bags for the children.

Kykuit Tour

Today, members enjoyed a tour of Kykuit, the mansion at the Rockefeller Estate, in Sleepy Hollow, New York. The name of the home means “lookout” in Dutch and it is situated on the highest point in town overlooking the Hudson River. The views are breathtaking–even on a cloudy, misty day like today. The home is filled with priceless art and artifacts from around the world. We followed the tour with a delicious lunch at Sunset Cove, a waterfront restaurant. Thanks to Christine and Kristen for organizing this great day!

USR CARES Oktoberfest

Along with other town organizations, we supported USR CARES in the steady mist yesterday in Lions Park. Our face painter, Kellianne, was a bit hit, and we gave out pretzel packs and information about our club. We donated a wine themed raffle basket to the silent auction. It was a great community day!

Thanks to Nancy for organizing the evening!
